  • AED available in public park

    Distributions of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) continues to be our main focus. It is believed that had an AED been on hand, Jodie’s life may have been saved.

    According to WebMD, sudden cardiac death s ia sudden, unexpected death caused by loss of heart function. It is the largest cause of natural death in the U.S. causing about 325,000 adult deaths each year.

  • Ambulance racing through the streets

    Sudden cardiac arrest can be reversed if treated within the first few minutes. According to the Red Cross, each minute that defibrillation is delayed reduces the victim’s chance of survival by about ten percent. About thirty percent of cardiac fatalities could have been prevented if an AED had been available early enough.
